Ask a questionAt what volume should I switch from LCL to FCL?
Compare both at around 12–15 CBM. Above that, a dedicated 20ft container is usually cheaper per unit and involves less handling. The calculator flags the crossover for you.
Why do ocean quotes change from week to week?
Carriers apply surcharges that move with fuel, capacity and route conditions, and these can be a large share of the total. Treat the calculator as indicative and confirm an all-in rate with our team before budgeting.
What documents do I need to ship from India to the UAE?
Commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading or airway bill, and a verified gross mass (VGM) declaration for containers. We send you a checklist with the confirmed booking.
Can you ship dangerous goods?
Yes. Dangerous goods fall into nine UN hazard classes, from explosives (Class 1) and flammable liquids (Class 3) to corrosives (Class 8) and miscellaneous items such as lithium batteries (Class 9). We handle classification, UN-specification packaging, marking and labelling, and the Shipper's Declaration under the IATA DGR for air and the IMDG Code for sea. Send the Safety Data Sheet with your enquiry and we confirm the accepted mode and packing.
Is my cargo insured in transit?
Only if insurance is arranged. Aerosky offers Clause (A) cover against all risks. Ask for it at quotation stage so it is in place before the cargo departs.
How do I track my shipment after booking?
Every shipment has one reference number. Send it to your Aerosky contact on WhatsApp or email and you will receive the current leg and next milestone.
